detoxing the body with salt to burn fat

Did you know that salt can actually help you get rid of fat on your body? Yup salt. We always think of salt as that white grainy stuff sitting on the kitchen counter used to enhance the flavor of our meals.

Many actually say to stay away from salt because it caused the body to retain water which in turn can cause the scales to go up. I bet you are wondering how salt could possibly help you lose weight when it can cause a water weight gain???

Here is the kicker, I’m not talking about eating the salt, and I’m talking about how you use it to detox your body.

You see, it has been proven that if your body is overloaded with toxins, it will suspend (or hold) those toxins in your fat cells until they can be disposed of later on. This effect happens to save your life.

Toxins are very harmful to the body, its organs, and overall health. However, toxins are a normal part of life and the body is designed to dispose of these toxins quickly and on a regular basis.

The problem is that our typical American diet is heavily polluted with extra toxins, pesticides, artificial flavor, colors, and other chemical substances used as preservatives that the body doesn’t need NOR-like.

When you are ingesting these harmful substances every day, they can build up in the body and overload it. The body is a phenomenal machine, but it can get overloaded. When this happens, the body can’t get the toxins out fast enough and since those toxins are harmful to you it will “store” them in a safe place like your fat cells to be processed and excreted later on. If your body never gets a break from a toxic overload then “later on” just never arrives.

Your fat cells are a great place to store “excess” anything. The cells are suspended away from your primary organs and can just sit there until the body can deal with them.

So you might be wondering how salt plays into the equation?

Your skin is one of the bodies primary ways of excreting toxins.   Sweating in a hot bath or sauna can help the body flush excess toxins and fluids from the cells, creating an overall cleansing effect on your health.

When you add Epsom salts and/or Pink Himalayan salts to your hot bath, it has a detoxing effect that draws the toxins out of your body.

If you help your body detox then you will reduce the toxin in your cells and assist your body in releasing those ugly fat cells it doesn’t need any longer.

Sometimes the reason we can’t lose weight is that the body needs a place to store all those excess toxins. By reducing to toxic intake through your diet and aiding your body to quickly release toxins already stored in the body through Salt Baths, then you can speed up your body’s process of eliminating those stubborn fat deposits.

My favorite Detoxing Bath Recipe:

Add to your bath:

2 cups of Epsom salts

1 cup of Pink Himalayan salt

4 drops of lavender essential oils

2 drops of ylang-ylang essential oils


Then detox, relax, and enjoy!
